Land of the Spuds

Last weekend we made a very last minute trip to Nampa to visit friends and family. On Saturday I had an amazing visit with Heather...baked oatmeal, shopping, and some of the best company possible! I also was able to spend some much needed quality time with Trina...we braved the monsoon together! We had lots of wonderful time with Randy, Danielle and the girls! Thanks to Mindy and Jose for dinner on Saturday too! It was a great weekend!

Klicker's

On Saturday afternoon we went on our much anticipated trip to the pumpkin patch! It was a splendid time! Josh's eyes were bigger than our budget...below you see the enormous pumpkin that first caught his eye. He was happy to find a smaller, cost-friendly pumpkin though! I not only had the privilege of choosing a pumpkin, but also I got to haul the pumpkins around in the radio flyer!

Pumpkin carving pictures to come toward the end of October!

The Wedding of my Wonderful Friend "J"

Jen and Ben tied the knot last Saturday, September 20. It was great to see Jen, one of my best friends from high school, marry the man of her dreams!

Jen and her daddy!
Me and the beautiful bride!
Luke and Kristin...so glad you two were there!
Josh and I...do we look cold? We were freezing!
Me and Beka, another wonderful friend from high school!
Beautiful sunset!

Me and Tara Jean

A moment of quality time before Tara Jean returned to Seattle! I love great friends like her!

Glorious Vacation!

On Thursday after work we jumped in the car and left Walla Walla for Sandpoint, Idaho. We arrived just in time for dinner. Below is the Lodge at Sandpoint where we stayed for two nights. Let me say...it is our kind of place!

On Friday we rented a sea doo for 4 hours! We toured the 65-mile-long lake...for sure the most beautiful lake either one of us has ever been to! In places the shoreline looks exactly like the
Napali Coast in Kauai. Friday afternoon was one of the funnest and most memorable afternoons we've spent together yet!

Friday evening we made sure we didn't miss the incredible sunset!

Saturday we had gelato in downtown Sandpoint...delightful!
And we spent the afternoon kayaking after setting up camp at a campground on the lake, just down the road from the Lodge.

What's camping without s'mores?!
Good morning!
On Sunday we spent the day in Coeur d'Alene before heading home....we decided that if we had to live in Idaho this is the place we would choose to live!
It was a better anniversary trip than we ever even dreamed up! Perfect!
